Epoxy Pool Coating is a two-component polyamide coating specially designed to properly prepare concrete, lime mortar, gunite, fiberglass and steel pools. It is extremely durable in fresh and salt water and is resistant to chemicals commonly used in swimming pools, including chlorine. This coating can be applied directly to new surfaces or to surfaces already covered with epoxy.

Chlorinated rubber paint has long been used for the maintenance of in-ground concrete pools. This type of paint offers excellent performance on new or previously painted surfaces due to its relative ease of installation. This is because it is a one-component paint, so no mixing with a hardener. Its fade resistance is superior to epoxy paint, but somewhat inferior to newer generations of acrylic paint.

This water-based acrylic paints are new generation acrylic emulsions that can be applied to most swimming pools in good condition regardless of the type of paint previously used, as well as bare concrete surfaces. This type of paint tolerates moisture in concrete than the other 2 types of pool paint. It is therefore an interesting choice if it is difficult to completely dry out the pool. Acrylic paint dries quickly for quick recovery: you can apply 2 coats in the same day if necessary. It also offers excellent color retention.
